NYC-DC-LHR for about a week

This was a packing list for a long trip for me.  Leaving home on Saturday and back the following Friday night.  Laundry opportunities wouldn't be great so I packed for the entire trip.  I left Saturday by train for DC.  Spent Saturday night to Tuesday late afternoon in DC.   On Tuesday I flew DCA-JFK-LHR and then LHR-JFK Friday evening.  I knew one of the two meetings that I would be attending in DC would be handing out shoulder bags or backpacks that are usually pretty nice as well as some publications.  Since I was on the train I wasn't too worried about being overpacked on the way to DC.  But picking a few extra items up in DC plus being a bit more concerned about size limits meant I shipped back my clothes for Saturday - Monday before getting on the plane at DCA.  The extra room helped a lot.  Had to gate check the BRX from DCA-JFK but it fit everywhere else.

A long trip (for me) to San Diego

This was a longer trip than I usually take. It was supposed to range from Friday night departure from New York to a return from San Diego departing early in the morning the following Thursday. For a variety of reasons I left a day early, taking the red-eye back Wednesday night, connecting in LA. I didn't take quite all of the shirts I needed, I had a few done in the hotel laundry. I had to make a short presentation but I emailed it to the meeting organizers before I left. So I didn't take a computer, onluy an iPad. Here is the list.
